Soft Footings
I have been weaving rugs for more than 30 years. I use only the finest New Zealand wool that is hand dyed in New Mexico. Most of these pieces are done in a traditional Rio Grande style using contemporary designs and colors, these rugs can easily integrate themselves into any home, office or other décor. Also, I am delving into other weave structures; specifically the binary surface and the equinox rugs. In August of 2006, Elle Magazine stated…"rugs are replacing wall paper as the hot decorative-revival item"…
All rugs are $90 a square foot. Decorators please contact me for more pricing information.

Greek Key Rug
4 feet wide x 6 feet long
Synthesis of negative / positive Greek border imagery and abstract Native American centerpiece. The warm earth tones of siesta browns, burgundy and pinion green are the dominant hues. |
Swirls Rug
4 feet wide x 6 feet long
‘Round’ is the PhD of tapestry design. These double-rounded swirls seem to float off the dark brown-framed, vanilla surface without regard to gravity or rpm’s. |
Hawaiian Blues Rug
4 feet wide x 6 feet long
Inspired by Hawaii’s cliff pools and crystalline waters, many of these rippling hues are hand-dyed. The variegated brown and green border imagery suggests a pineapples outer scales. |
Black and White Butterflies Rug
4 feet wide x 6 feet long
An elegant trio of white butterflies rest on their own Fibonacci-inspired tapestry row. This subtle, black and white tapestry achieves restfulness in its deeply satisfying simplicity. |

Tumbling Blocks Rug
4 feet wide x 6 feet long
Optical illusions are the intrigue in this piece. Inspired by the "tumbling block" designs used in much of the ancient tile work in the architecture in Italy, a more contemporary look was given to this rug. |
Movement
The uniqueness of this rug is that in it’s reversed state one can have a distinct pattern on one side and the geometry of stripes on the other using a harmony of colors. |
