My signature pieces represent my venture into taking cloth to a more pictorial level. With these pieces, I weave a very fine cloth and then transfer photographs to the cloth. The scarves are silk. You can have a personal piece reminding you of an exceptional voyage; literally or figuratively. The transfer process uses an all natural liquid and renders the piece soft with a beautiful drape. The scarves are hand washable with no loss of clarity to the photos.

A Career Milestone The photos on this scarf are of my friends Terry and Annie Claborn after he received an award at the Scientific and Technical Academy Awards for his part in the development in the Realtime Answerprint System. This was an exceptional career voyage for Terry. |
Celebration of a Life To honor my mother and her exceptional voyage through her life, I made a scarf for myself using photos from when she was a baby until right before her death at 91 years. Every time I wear this scarf, I am reminded of the many times she wrapped her arms around me. |
