Sheep Thrills Classes - 2008 Class Schedule

Please either call 830-990-6994 or email to request an enrollment form by FAX, Email or Snail Mail. A 50% deposit required.

Cancellation Policy - A full refund will be given if the class is cancelled or the student decides not to attend up to 2 weeks prior to the class. One half of the deposit will be refunded if the student cancels up to 48 hours prior to the workshop. There will be no refunds granted after that time. It is the student's responsibility to contact me and I will respond and let them know I have received their desire not to take the class.

Natural Dyeing

The Dog Days of Summer will bring Natural Dyeing days to Sheep Thrills. We will study how the different mordants and assists affect the hue of the yarn. You will leave with 25 wool samples. This class is limited to 10 students.

Theo Moorman Explored
More a seminar than a weaving workshop, this will take you along my personal journey in trying many different weave structures using the Theo Moorman technique. Samples of plain weave, twill and even double weave will be handed out along with drafts for you to take home and use for your personal journey.

Great Gifts in Peyote Stitch
Making Holiday gifts out of beads using the versatile Peyote stitch can be very rewarding. In this 2 day workshop you will learn the basics of Peyote stitch as well as what supplies are best and some color theory as it relates to glass beads. If time permits, there might be a quick intro to fringes. This workshop is limited to 15 participants.
